Role Overview
Purchasing Supervisor
This role is expected to act as a key driver in procurement strategy and execution, bridging operational needs with long-term sourcing initiatives. You will lead a small team and play a critical role in cost control, supplier management, and process improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Purchasing Supervisor handling indirect materials in an MNC, or 3 years in a local company (Tangerang – Bandung area).
- Educational background preferably in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) or Science (MIPA).
- Highly familiar with purchasing processes and committed to a career in Purchasing.
- Able to communicate in English verbally (basic level is acceptable – able to understand and respond communicatively).
Main Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor all purchasing activities performed by Purchasing Staff.
- Ensure all purchasing documentation, approvals, and processes comply with SOPs and audit requirements.
- Manage supplier corrective actions (SCAR) when required.
- Review purchasing documents before submission to Manager.
- Support superior in managing and monitoring inventory levels (packaging materials, direct materials, etc.).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly report for regional office.
